FAQ
Your first session will be an opportunity for your therapist to learn a little more about you, what brings you to therapy, what you intend to gain from your therapeutic experience, and to gather some preliminary background information from you. You will also use this time to determine whether the therapist you’ve chosen is a good fit for your personality and therapeutic needs, ask any questions you may have, and learn specifics about the practices and policies that guide the therapist working alongside you.
Out of pocket therapy costs vary based on individual provider expertise and will be discussed during the complimentary consultation call with the provider. Safe Haven Wellness Center is currently paneled with several private insurance companies, including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna/ Evernorth Behavioral Health, and Aetna. Every client’s journey is unique and individualized. The best answer we offer at Safe Haven Wellness Center, is, ‘it lasts until it doesn’t need to!
Initially, your therapist will most likely want you to commit to weekly, to sufficiently establish rapport and gain momentum towards your personal goals. However, every client’s journey is unique so you will have the opportunity to work with your clinician on a schedule that best honors your individualized needs and preferences.
Safe Haven Wellness Center has a 24-hour cancellation/ reschedule policy that will be discussed during your first appointment. This allows us to effectively show up for you while also making space for another client to receive much-needed support, in the event that you need to pivot. We reserve the right to collect a no-call/ no-show fee that is equivalent to your out-of-pocket fee for failure to adhere to the policy.
